With the Master Class "Translating market information into your business plan" Rob Meijer explains how -generally limited- market information can be translated into reliable input for a business plan. With the Master Class "Financing new ventures" the MBA course participants get taken along to the world of investors, the way they calculate and assess business plans. In the Master class "Advanced business planning" Rob Meijer and the course participants analyse business cases of leading food companies. Rob Meijer is also part of the expert panel assessing the business plans.
Biography
Rob Meijer (1966) studied industrial engineering at the University of Twente. After his graduation he worked for four years with Hoechst Holland N.V., his first year as process engineer, then a year as internal advisor, and his last two years for the pharma division in several marketing & sales positions. In September 1996 he started as management consultant with Coopers & Lybrand (and without applying with its successors PricewaterhouseCoopers, PwC Consulting and IBM Business Consulting Services). At the end of 2002 Meijer finished his post doctorate management consultancy at the Vrije Universiteit. Together with his colleague Ube van der Ham he started his own consultancy firm Meijer & Van der Ham Management Consultants in 2004. Their belief companies need independent advice, a no-nonsense approach and a strategy that builds vision on facts and figures is the keynote of their business.
